Works Minister receives Italian ambassador

Manama, Mar. 18 (BNA): Minister of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf received Italian Ambassador to Bahrain Domenico Bellato, in the presence of the ministry's Undersecretary Ahmed Al-Khayat. They discussed bilateral cooperation and ways of bolstering it in various fields. The meeting was in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to avail of the experiences of international companies, mainly in the architectural, construction and sewerage fields. The Italian ambassador hailed growing relations between Bahrain and Italy, commending the efforts of the Works Ministry in upgrading Bahrain's infrastructure and praising the kingdom's progress at all levels.
