HRH Premier receives book on Bahraini-Saudi relations

Manama, Mar. 26 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Chairman of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA), Moanes Al-Mardi, who presented him with a copy of his book entitled "The Historic Meeting". The book documents the historical visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and his brotherly meeting with HRH the Prime Minister. It also contains the Prime Minister's memorable quotes about Saudi Arabia and its rulers, which reflects HRH Premier's special interest in the solid relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. HRH Premier asserted that Saudi Arabia is the pulsating heart for which all Arabs and Muslims yearn, noting that Saudi Arabia is the destination for all Muslims, and has become, under the leadership of King Salman, Arab's fortress and the all-inclusive home that serves the interests of Muslims and Arabs. Relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are solid fraternal ties and will remain so thanks to the support of the leaderships and their governments, the Premier said. HRH Premier expressed thanks to Al-Mardi for the efforts he had exerted in compiling his book which documents relations between two loving nations. He stressed the government's support to all initiatives aimed at documenting the key phases of Bahrain's relations with other GCC and Arab countries, wishing Al-Mardi further success. BJA Chairman extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his encouragement of initiatives to document's Bahrain's history and relations with various countries, noting that attendees of the Premier's Majlises or officials meetings recognise the distinguished and specific status of Saudi Arabia in his mind and policies.
