Al-Ajam Community Centre denounces Iranian interference

Manama, Mar. 27 (BNA): Al-Ajam Community Centre emphasised full support to the leadership and the great reform process of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. It hailed the government's policies spearheaded by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier in caring for all citizens. The community centre praised in a statement issued today the dedicated efforts of the Interior Ministry in maintaining national security which led recently to the arrest of a terror cell that had plotted and started carrying out a number of terrorist acts and was plotting the assassination of key personalities in the kingdom. The centre commended the ministry's tremendous efforts to ensure the rule of the law and its enforcement on any violator in order for Bahrain to remain an oasis of peace. It denounced in the strongest terms the Iranian blatant interference in Bahrain's internal affairs which contravenes the principles of good neighbourliness as well as international conventions and covenants. It stressed the need for concerted efforts to maintain security, describing that as a common responsibility and stressing Bahrain's unwavering status as the state of institutions and law.
