HM King extends condolences

Manama, Apr. 1(BNA): Assigned by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa offered condolences on the death of Fujairah Deputy Ruler Shaikh Hamad bin Saif Al-Sharqi. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad earlier left Abu Dhabi, heading to the emirate of Fujairah. He was received at Fujairah International Airport, where he was received by Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, son of Fujairah ruler. Accompanied by Dr. Al-Sharqi, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad headed to Al-Rumailah Palace where he offered the condolences of HM the King to UAE Federal Council member and Fujairah Ruler Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi, Crown Prince Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi as well as the deceased’s sons, praying to the Almighty to lay the soul of late Fujairah Deputy Ruler in eternal peace. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad hailed deep-rooted relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, paying tribute to the late Fujairah Deputy Ruler for his dedicated contributions to his country and people. Fujairah Ruler Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi thanked HM the King for his good feelings which reflect strong bilateral relations, wishing HM the King abundant health and well-being and the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad later left the emirate of Fujiarah and was seen off at the airport by Dr. Al-Sharqi.
