Vat Phou Champassak festival to hold this weekend
(KPL) An annual festival of Vat Phou Champassak in Champassak province will fall on 7 to 9 February, said Mr. Savay Saysongkhuam, District Chief of Champassack.
Mr. Savay continued that this year the Vat Phou Champassak festival will have different activities as last year, including art performance of ethnic groups and Japan.
There will be current and traditional sports competitions and trade fair drawing local business units engaged in handicraft, souvenir production and carving. And also various parades of dancing performance of Miss Ubsala, students and people respectively will be displayed.
In order to facilitate to local and foreign travelers during the festival, the Champassak authorities are on decorated and hygiene campaigns at hotels and restaurants and roads.
