National Badminton Federation needs active players

(KPL) The National Badminton Federation has said it needs players who love badminton and is able to dedicate their time in practicing and participating in competitions in preparation for the 25th SEA Games.
“The 25th South East Asian Games is the hardest competition to Lao athletes to show the country to the regional nations in term of sporting competition,” said President of National Badminton Federation, Mr Santiphab Phomvihanh.
The federation will inform the government about a problem of its athletes as some are busy with their education.”
Head Office of the National Badminton Federation Mr. Somsaveng Sengsilavong said that in the 24th SEA Games in Thailand the federation sent its athletes to join the games but non of them could not manage to win any medals as most of them were worried about their education and families.
In order to address these problems, the federation has informed it players that it is ready to resolve their problem and will have them training overseas.
If athletes cannot manage their time for training, the federation will remove them from the national team, Mr. Somsaveng warned.
