Bahrain-EU discuss human rights cooperation

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): Vice President Abdullah Al-Derazi of the National Institution for Human Rights has led Bahrain's delegation at the second meeting of the joint work group between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the EU's External Action Service chaired by Managing-Director for Middle East and North Africa, Nick Westcott, to complement the first meeting held in Bahrain in November 2016. The two sides discussed the latest developments in human rights in Bahrain and the EU and mechanisms of cooperation between them. Al-Derazi gave an overview of the NIHR efforts in preserving human rights and disseminating its culture in Bahrain.
