French journalist applies to Azerbaijani authorities for permission to visit Armenia-occupied territories

Baku, April 7, AZERTAC Independent French journalist Romain Mielcarek has sent a letter to Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry, asking for accreditation and permission to visit the Armenia-occupied Azerbaijani territories. According to the ministry, in his letter, Mielcarek expressed his respect for territorial integrity, sovereignty and laws of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders. He also assured the Azerbaijani authorities that he would refrain from illegally traveling to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan in future. The reporter presented his application form for the accreditation of foreign media representatives to the ministry. Taking into account Mielcarek `s appeal and respect for the Azerbaijani laws his name was not included in the blacklist of the Foreign Ministry.
