‘Declaration of 2017 as Year of Islamic Solidarity in Azerbaijan is a good example to other countries’

Baku, April 12, AZERTAC “The declaration of 2017 as a Year of Islamic Solidarity in Azerbaijan is a good example to other counties,” said Director General of the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art, and Culture (IRCICA) Halit Eren. He made remarks at an international conference “Islamic solidarity: Harmony of religious and cultural diversity” in Baku. Eren praised the atmosphere of multiculturalism and tolerance in Azerbaijan, saying people of different backgrounds, cultures and religions co-exist peacefully in the country.
