Settlement between Russian antimonopoly regulator and Google may influence on similar proceedings in EU - Yandex

The settlement agreement between the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) and Google may influence on litigation currently underway in the European Union against the corporation, Chief Executive Officer of Russian internet company Yandex Alexander Shulgin told reporters on Monday. The court approved the settlement between the FAS and Google earlier today. "The Russian decision will influence on proceedings in Europe," Shulgin said. The court approved the settlement agreement between the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) and Google in the Android case earlier today. The agreement was made for 6 years and 9 months, Deputy Head of FAS Alexei Dotsenko told reporters on Monday. Read more
