HRH Premier congratulated on Development Shield

Manama, Apr. 21 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from social activit, Osama Al-Shaher on the Development Work Shield which was conferred on him by the Arab League. Al-Shaer voiced pride in Premier’s becoming the First Arab leader to be conferred the shield in acknowledgement of his pioneering role in modern Bahrain’s development and progress, and in tribute for his contributions to social work and support for joint Arab action. He stressed that the grand ceremony held on the occasion reflects the crucial role played by the Premier in backing Arab issues, and bringing about milestone development achievements in Bahrain aimed at ensuring decent life for the citizens. He added that the prestigious award bestowed on HRH Premier is an honouring of all Bahrainis, noting that the Prime Minister is loved by all citizdens for promoting national unity and dedication in the service of the nation. He congratulated the Bahraini leadership and people for the Premier’s honouring, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless HRH Premier with abundant health, and the kingdom with further security, stability and progress.
