Speaker congratulates Saudi, Qatari counterparts

Manama, Apr. 22 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, sent a cable of congratulations to his Saudi Shura Council counterpart, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, and another to his Qatari Shura Council counterpart, Mohammed bin Mubrak Al-Khulaifi, on the safe return of the Saudi and Qatari citizens who were kidnapped in Iraq. Al-Mulla lauded the efforts exerted by the Saudi and Qatari authorities and the stances of the Saudi and Qatari Shura councils at international parliamentary gatherings in support of the release and return of their abducted citizens. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless brotherly Saudi Arabia and Qatar with lasting security and stability.
