Workshop on National Agriculture Program opens in Riyadh

Riyadh, February 08, SPA -- A workshop on the National Program for
the systems of agricultural information was inaugurated here today in
the presence of Minister of Agriculture Dr Fahd Balghunaim.


The workshop is organized by the Agricultural Development Fund and
the Agriculture Ministry in coordination with the Dutch University
for establishing a National Center for agricultural information in
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


Speaking on the occasion Abdul-Rahman Al-Jeraisey, the Chairman of
the Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
underscored the importance of establishing a National Center for
Agricultural Information.


He lauded the support being extended by the State to the
agricultural sector.
