Workshop on National Agriculture Program opens in 2 Riyadh

On his part, Dr Balghunaim called for making available the
agricultural marketing information and said such a development will
be helpful for the farmers to market their agricultural products.


He also called for formulating productive and marketing plans that
match the taste of the consumers.


Dr Balghunaim noted that the decision of the Cabinet to replace the
Saudi Arabian Agricultural Bank with the Agricultural Development
Fund and increasing its capital to SR 20 billion is aimed at boosting
the agricultural development through extending soft loans and other
facilities, taking into account the importance of rationalization of
water consumption and preservation of the environment.
