Commander-in-Chief receives former US ambassador

Manama, May 18 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today received former US Ambassador to Bahrain, Ronald Newman. The Commander-in-Chief praised the former ambassador's efforts in reinforcing bilateral relations and cooperation during his tenure. The two parties discussed topics of joint interest. BDF Inspector General, Maj-Gen Abdullah Hassan Al-Nuaimi, was present.
