DSK asks govt to provide 40 billion kip for fruit growers
(KPL) DSK Group, the owner of a juice factory in Luang Prabang province, has urged the government to provide 40 billion kip to farmers in the province to grow fruit for its factory.
While welcoming President of National Assembly Thongsing Thammavong, DSK Group President Xayasing Sanakeo said that the assistance should be low-interest loans.
DSK Group owns a concrete factory, Sanakeo Hotel, Phosy Market and a mineral drinking water factory. The group employs more than 400.
The DSK Group mineral drinking water factory was constructed in 2007 with an investment of 12 billion kip. It produces 200 litters of drinking water and juice of tamarinds, oranges and pineapples.
The factory buys raw materials from farmers in Luang Prabang and neighbouring provinces.
Last month the factory also received the visit from Vice President of Laos Bounnhang Vorachith.
