China provides aid to National Assembly
(KPL) Chinese Ambassador to Laos Mr Pan Guangxue on Wednesday handed over a package from the National People’s Congress of China to Head of National Assembly Office Mr Thongteun Xayasen.
Worth over 44,000 US dollars, the package includes 24 computers and 10 digital cameras. It is to strengthen the National Assembly of Laos capacity building. Relevant officials of both sides witnessed the handover.
Mr. Thongteun said that the National Assembly of Laos highly valued the assistance from the National People’s Congress of China, which would significantly enhance the relations and cooperation between Laos and China, especially the cooperation between the biggest national legislative bodies on lawmaking and social ills resolutions.
