Sharjah Charity International delivers over 300,000 iftar meals in first 10th days of Ramadan

SHARJAH, 8th June, 2017 (WAM) -- Sharjah Charity International revealed that the total number of breakfast meals offered to fasting people in the UAE during the first ten days of the holy month of Ramadan reached 303,510 meals (30351 meals per a day). The High Committee of the Ramadan Campaign of Sharjah Charity International said the iftar meals were distributed in 146 locations in the city of Sharjah and its districts. Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, Board Member and Executive Director of Sharjah Charity International, said that the meals were provided in full coordination with a number of approved kitchens, which follow safety and health procedures in the processing of meals. He pointed out that 37 kitchens were contracted to supply meals which include rice, chicken, meat, fresh fruits, cold drinks and dates. http://wam.ae/en/details/1395302618115
