Malaysian Companies Urged To Join CFCE 2017
KUALA LUMPUR, June 21 (Bernama) -- Malaysian companies are urged to join the China Food and Catering Expo 2017 (CFCE 2017) which will be held from Sept 14-17, 2017 at Changsa International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hunan.
Malay Businessmen and Industrialists Association of Malaysia (Perdasama) Vice President, Naim Mohamad, said it would be a great exposure for local small medium enterprises (SMEs).
"For now we are targeting 30 companies to join the expo which will help improve the business networking especially for those involved in food and beverages industry," he told reporters here Wednesday.
Naim said according to the data by Companies Commission of Malaysia, 80 to 90 per cent of the SMEs were micro businesses involved in the food and beverages industry.
"This opportunity will open the doors to local entrepreneurs where they will meet their business colleagues from all over the world and this will be an eye-opener,” he said.
He said companies interested to join the CFCE 2017 needed to get in contact with Perdasama or Malaysia Promas International Business Society (Promas) to register.
"This is an opportunity for them to gain experience, exposure and definitely they can do some business. It is also a warm-up to the Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo," he said.
For the Guangdong expo, which will be held from Sept 21-24 30 local entrepreneurs had confirmed their participation, he said.
