Thailand's export growth target 2017 maintained at 5%

BANGKOK, June 29 (TNA)-The Thai Ministry of Commerce has maintained the country's export growth this year at 5 per cent. Thai Commerce Minister Apiradi Tantaporn told journalists on June 28 that the decision is in accordance with the recovering world market, particularly the US and the Chinese markets, as well as those of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV). The minister said her ministry is also working with relevant public and private agencies to promote Thai exports through over 100 grand seafood events in foreign countries, including those in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, Central Asia and other member countries in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
