ERC continues humanitarian efforts for people with special needs in Yemen

HADRAMAUT, 10th July, 2017 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has continued its relief and humanitarian efforts through provision of aid to the population in Hadramaut Governorate in Yemen to alleviate the suffering of the low-income segments, particularly the People With Special Needs. ERC has launched a campaign to distribute humanitarian aid for the underprivileged in the presence of Amin Barazeeq, Director-General of Al Shahar District in Hadramaut Governorate. The campaign is in line with the continuous humanitarian efforts of the UAE and within the directives of the wise leadership in the social responsibility field to provide support for all segments of the Yemeni society. Abdullah Al Musafri, Head of the ERC Team in Hadrtamaut emphasised ERC's keenness on alleviating the suffering of the needy people, especially the People with Special Needs, who were deprived from their basic needs for years. He added that the campaign is part of a series of humanitarian aid drives for the advantage of the population in Hadramaut. Barazeeq commended the efforts and permanent support of the UAE at all avenues in Hadramaut, stressing the gesture stresses UAE's continuous keenness on supporting all segments of the society in Hadramaut.
