All Set For The Best SEA Games - Minister Saravanan

PUTRAJAYA (Malaysia), Aug 5 (Bernama) -- With another 14 days to go for the 29th Kuala Lumpur SEA Games, Malaysia is all set to organise the best ever sporting event in the region. Malaysian Deputy Youth and Sports Minister, M. Saravanan said the organiser, the Malaysian SEA Games Organising Committee (MASOC) which began its task about two years ago is now putting in the final touches to realise another historic event for the country. “I am very proud to announce we are ready, all competition venues are completed and athletes have already begun training in some of them,” he told a media conference here Friday. He also advised the people to use public transport to go to the venues such as the National Stadium to witness the opening ceremony or sports events. -- BERNAMA
