26th ITF Congress Held

Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- The 26th congress of the International Taekwon-Do Federation took place here on Sunday. Present there were Ri Yong Son, president of the International Taekwon-Do Federation and chairman of the International Martial Arts Games Committee, executive members of the ITF, representatives from the national associations under the ITF and officials concerned. Coaches of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee took part in the meeting as observers. The congress reviewed the ITF work since its 25th congress and decided on host countries for the 13th Juvenile and 8th Veteran Taekwon-Do Championships in 2018 and the 21st Taekwon-Do World Championships in 2019. It also adopted relevant documents including amended rules of the ITF and regulations of the game. -0-
