IFCTF 2017 to Explore New Trends in Financial Crime
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19 (Bernama) -- The ninth International Conference on Financial Crime and Terrorism Financing (IFCTF) 2017 will explore emerging trends in financial crime and the next generation of detection and technological capabilities required to meet regulatory expectations.
The Asian Institute of Finance (AIF) in a statement Tuesday said the two-day event, beginning Oct 4 in Kuala Lumpur, was being jointly organised by AIF and the Compliance Officers Networking Group.
“The conference, themed, ‘Future Proofing Compliance: Responsibility and Response-Ability’, is designed to provide the future outlook to participants and anti-money laundering/counter financing of terrorism practitioners,” it said.
AIF Chief Executive Officer, Dr Raymond Madden, said the conference was expected to attract more than 500 delegates this year, including senior compliance professionals from regional and global banks and other financial institutions.
