APG 2017: Malaysia March Into Semifinals After Big Win Against Cambodia

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 (Bernama) – Malaysia confirmed their ticket to the semi-finals following a huge 12-0 win over Cambodia in a Group A match (Cerebral Palsy) football competition in the 9th ASEAN Para Games. Farisan Jasnal was the toast of the Malaysian squad at the Bukit Jalil National Sports Council Field Wednesday as he scored five goals in the seventh, 14th, 24th, 36th and 49th minutes while team captain Mohd Sobri Ghazali contributed four goals in the 16th, 22nd, 46th and 52nd minutes. Three more goals came through Khairi Ismail, Uthman Surur and Zul Asyraf Zulkifli in the 30th, 37th and 54th minutes, respectively.
