Moderate Earthquake Hits Indonesia

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 21 (Bernama) -- A moderate earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale occurred in Java, Indonesia at 8.01 am Wednesday. The Malaysian Meteorology Department in a statement said the epicentre of the quake was 882 km southeast of Lubuk Antu, Sarawak. The quake did not pose any tsunami threat. -- BERNAMA
