Symposium on triangle development area held in Attapeu province
(KPL) A symposium to disseminate and implement the results of the fifth summit of three leaders of Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia on triangle development areas was held last week in Attapeu province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Sinay Mienlavanh, Governor of Attapeu province said that the triangle development areas of the three countries has covered 10 provinces including three provinces of Laos, three provinces of Cambodia and 4 provinces in Vietnam.
He added that the socio-economic development levels in the three provinces of Laos are still low, particularly the infrastructure, economic, human resource development and the health services but the potentials for development in these provinces are the main challenge to attract local and foreign investors.
