Thousands watch royal procession rehearsal

BANGKOK, Oct 22 (TNA) - Several thousands of people early Sunday witnessed a rehearsal for the fourth, fifth and sixth processions of the royal cremation ceremony of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Sanam Luang Ceremonial Ground. The rehearsal is part of the ceremony where royal relics of the late monarch will be transported from the royal crematorium to the Grand Palace and the royal ashes will be transferred to be enshrined at two temples - Wat Rajabopit and Wat Bowonniwet. The event will take place on October 27 and 29. Meanwhile, many people placed marigold garlands at the portrait of His Majesty the late King in front of the Grand Palace. The Royal Household Bureau announced that the activity will end at 10.00 p.m. tomorrow. (TNA)
