Jobs available on mobile app

BANGKOK, Nov 8 (TNA) – The Department of Employment advises new graduates to search for job vacancies through its application, called “Smart Job Centre.” The Department’s Director-General, Anurak Tossarat said both new graduates and the unemployed are welcome to search for job vacancies through its mobile application, Smart Job Centre, the online channel under cooperation between the agency and five recruitment companies. Those companies are Kelly Services Staffing & Recruitment Thailand, Adecco Thailand, Man Power, JobsDB and JobTopGun. After registration on the application, the system will display job vacancies that match applicants’ qualifications. Users can also apply for unlimited jobs, exchange messages with employers and share job availabilities to friends. According to figures from JobsDB and JobTopGun, in September, 51,706 positions are available. Most needed positions are sales and customer service staff at 9,357, followed by engineers and technicians at 6,903 positions. Apart from the mobile application, job seekers can look for job vacancies on the department’s website at www.smartjob.doe.go.th, he said. (TNA)
