Colourful jellyfish sighting in Trat

TRAT, Nov 13 (ANT) - Tourists have flocked to see multi-coloured moon jellyfish, swarming in the sea off the eastern province of Trat. The large number of colourful moon jelly fish can be seen floating in water about two kilometres from at Ban Klong Son village in Tambon Laem Klad of the provincial seat. Proper time for viewing jellyfish is 7-9am and 3-4pm. Tourists pay 100 baht each for a boat and it takes about 15 minutes to the viewing location. The jelly fish phenomenon can be observed until the end of November. Moon jelly fish is poisonous but it is not life threatening. They are mostly seen in shallow water, feeding on plankton. (TNA)
