Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson: Azerbaijan is an important strategic partner of Russia in South Caucasus

Moscow, November 17, AZERTAC “Azerbaijan is an important strategic partner of Russia in the South Caucasus region,” Russia`s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has told a briefing. She said the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries will be marked this year. Zakharova hailed political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Russia. She said Russia`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov will visit Baku on November 20 to discuss bilateral relations.
