King endorses new cabinet reshuffle

BANGKOK, Nov 25 (TNA) -The new Cabinet line-up was endorsed by His Majesty the King and published in the Royal Gazette, involving 18 positions. Among ten newcomers are Weerasak Kowsurat who replaces former Tourism and Sports Minister, Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul and Grisada Boonrach, who becomes the new agriculture minister, replacing Gen Chatchai Sarikulya. Gen Chatchai is now deputy prime minister. ACM Prachin Jantong, deputy premier was appointed to take another post as Justice Minister. Among those who lost their posts in the reshuffle are ex-deputy prime minister Gen Tanasak Patimapragorn, former PM's Office Minister Ormsin Chivapruck, ex-deputy defence minister Gen Udomdej Sitabutr, and ex-commerce minister Apiradi Tantraporn, who was replaced by her deputy, Sontirat Sontijirawong. Ex-energy minister Gen Anantaporn Kanjanarat replaces ex-social Development and Human Security Minister Pol General Adul Saengsingkaew, who becomes Labour Minister. (TNA)
