Interior Ministry participates in exhibition

Manama, Nov. 28 (BNA): The Ministry of Interior took part in an exhibition held at the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) headquarters. The expo was on the sidelines of the ceremony during which results of the 5th HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa Award were announced. Health and Social Affairs director Major Fatima Omar Abdulrahman stressed the ministry’s strides in empowering women in various professions, citing civil defence, shooting, VIP escort and special forces. "Women working with the Ministry of Interior has achieved strides and successes in the security, administrative, engineering, medical and legal fields", she said.
