No Thai casualties reported in Israel after rocket attacks

BANGKOK, Dec 9 (TNA) -- No Thai citizen casualties were reported in rocket attacks fired and hit the southern Israel town of Sderot on Friday night, said the Thai embassy in Tel Aviv. Thai citizens living in Israel are also urged to closely monitor situation in that country after a fresh violence has broken out since US President Donald Trump’s statement on Wednesday recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. According to the Thai embassy, three rockets were reportedly fired from Gaza to Israeli town, causing no casualties among Thais while the Israeli authorities said no serious damages were caused. Thais living in Israel, especially in Sderot, the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council and neighbouring cities are urged to closely monitor the situation and should follow orders to be given by officials in the area, the embassy added.
