BoT Assistant Governor, Siritida Panomwon Na Ayudhya said the three banks met the BoT’s criteria to provide PromptPay-based QR code payment services to the public after they completed the test of their QR code payment system in the regulatory sandbox. It is the same criteria, adopted for the earlier test of the first batch of five banks. The test also includes system’s capability in security risk management, she said.
