PM will visit in Phitsanulok, Sukhothai next week

BANGKOK, Dec 20 (TNA) -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will visit Phitsanulok and Sukhothai provinces on Dec 25-26 and have a cabinet meeting there. Assistant government spokesperson Thaksada Sangkhachan said Gen Prayut’s delegation would arrive in Phitsanulok on Dec 25. There, he will inspect the operations of Pracharat Rak Sammakkhi Co and meet local residents at Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University. He will also deliver land deeds to people from 14 provinces. At noon he will discuss development strategies for northern provinces with provincial governors, business people and local administrators and inspect water management projects in Thung Bang Rakam field. In the afternoon he will leave for Sukhothai. He will meet local community leaders, visit the Sukhothai Historical Park and open a Pracharat market. Col Thaksada also said that on Dec 26 the prime minister and cabinet ministers would give alms to Buddhist monks before a cabinet meeting at the Institute of Physical Education Sukhothai. Afterwards he will return to Bangkok to attend a praying event at the Royal Plaza at 6pm. (TNA)
