Suankularb Nonthaburi School is model school for internet development

NONTHABURI, Jan 4 (TNA) – Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi School is the model school for the development of IT system in school learning as the Education Ministry targets to have all schools under its administration equipped with high speed internet within this year. Education minister Teerakiat Jareonsettasin visited the school today to learn about its IT system, which will be applied to other 30,000 schools across the country. Jirat Jaemsawong, the teacher who is the winner of the 2017 Princess Maha Chakri Award, who pioneer the use of information and communication in teaching briefed the minister about the use of internet in the school. The education ministry pledged to support high speed internet for all schools as New Year gifts for students as internet connection is a tool for their educational opportunities. The ministry goal is to provide the internet speed of 100 megabytes per second (Mbps) or at the speed, suitable for the size of each school. The schools will spend the infrastructure budget for proper internet network in their areas. (TNA)
