QBA, Turkish Delegation Discuss Ways of Promoting Cooperation

Doha, January 15 (QNA) - Qatari Businessmen Association (QBA) held on Monday a meeting with a visiting Turkish businessmen delegation. The delegation is chaired by Erda Ermut, the head of the Turkish Investment Support and Promotion Agency. The two sides discussed opportunities and areas of investment to further develop economic relations between them. HE QBA Chairman Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al-Thani said Qatari businessmen are interested in exploring more investments and projects available in Turkey, calling on Turkish companies to explore the Qatari market and enter into partnerships with their counterparts in Qatar related to acquiring Turkish brands or products and establishing a joint cooperation to serve the Qatari market, especially after the imposition of the siege. HE the QBA Chairman praised Turkey for the welcome and facilitation given to the Qatari investors as Turkish government provides all necessary support to them and Turkish banks are ready to help Qatari investors. For his part, Ermut stressed that the relations between the business community in both countries have deepened and strengthened recently, pointing out that his visit aims to enhance cooperation between the two countries and establishes continuous communication between his agency and the QBA. Qatar is a strategic ally of Turkey and their cooperation covers all areas, he said. (QNA)
