Frozen dew covers Doi Inthanon
CHIANG MAI, Jan 23 (TNA) - Thailand’s highest mountain, Doi Inthanon in the northern province of Chiang Mai is covered with frozen dew as the temperature has dropped to two degrees Celsius.
Rung Hirunwong, head of the Doi Inthanon national park said that tourists have been impressed with frozen dew, occurring in wide areas from Kew Mae Phan viewpoint to the top of the mountain.
The national park is now packed with tourists as families of students at a famous university in Chiang Mai have travelled to the province to attend the commencement ceremony.
Normally, the national park welcomes about 3,000 visitors per day on average, excluding travellers during long holidays. (TNA)
