Japanese ambassador about ASAN-Service

Baku, January 24, AZERTAC “ASAN-Service system in Azerbaijan functions as the cell of e-government in the country”, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan Teruyuki Katori shared this information in his blog. Noting there are similar systems in developed countries, the diplomat writes: “But, in Azerbaijan, the people presenting only their identity cards benefit from about 240 services”. The Ambassador expresses his surprise when he got acquainted with the activity of Baku “ASAN” public service where he was widely informed about the activities and aims of establishment of “ASAN-Service” and “ABAD” centers. He emphasizes that with the establishment of “ASAN-Service” there have been achieved serious steps in the field of provision of efficient administration through enhancing of transparency and application of innovations, including number of people the centers serve. “The people are fully satisfied with the activity of the ASAN centers and support this system”, he writes. The Ambassador compares ASAN centers with the huge systems in world and writes that similar services have just began to function in Japan, and there are a lot to learn from ASAN services. According to the Ambassador, the people of Azerbaijan are proud of the activity of the ASAN-Service which received United Nations Public Service Award.
