BANGKOK, Jan 30 (TNA) - The PTT Pcl, a state-owned oil and gas company, offers space at gas stations for farmers to sell their para rubber products free of charge. Gen Chatchalerm Chalermsukh, RAT chairman presided over the ceremony, in which Titus Suksaard, RAT governor and Auttapol Rerkpiboon, Chief Operating Officer of Downstream Petroleum Business Group of PTT Public Company Limited signed the cooperation agreement. Mr Titus said the cooperation will increase sales channels for processed rubber products such as para rubber pillows, shoes and other products to support para rubber growers. The outlets are available for farmers free of charge. The PTT is ready to exchange knowledge and innovation with them to upgrade their products to meet international standard, said Auttapol. Gen Chatchalerm thanked PTT for providing space to help farmers release their products to the market as Thai farmers produce upto 4.6 million tonnes of para rubber each year.
