Thailand carries on anti-alcohol campaign

BANGKOK, February 13 (TNA) - An anti-alcohol public campaign has been carried on in Thailand with a full support by Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha. Public Health Minister Dr. Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn led a team of Thai actors, actresses and other artists to meet the prime minister at Bangkok's Government House on Tuesday to seek his support for the continual anti-alcohol public campaign and for an exhibition marking the one decade of Thailand's alcohol control bill. The exhibition is aimed to create public awareness on problems and troubles caused by alcohol consumption. The prime minister said, meanwhile, that he fully supports the anti-alcohol campaign and he was given roses by the team of Thai youths, while promising that his government would do everything for the interest of Thai younger generations.
