Azerbaijan ranks first in volume of investments in Georgia

Baku, February 13, AZERTAC “Azerbaijan is in the first place among foreign countries investing in the Georgian economy,” said Georgian Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Cherkezishvili in a meeting of the economic committee of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly held in Tbilisi. Giorgi Cherkezishvili noted that Turkey takes the second place among foreign investors. During the meeting, the deputy minister briefed the participants on current investment and economic opportunities of Georgia.
