Scattered rain in Bangkok

BANGKOK, Feb 23 (TNA) – Bangkok experienced scattered rain this morning with the highest amount of rain was reported at 64.5 millimetres in Nong Khaem district. Bangkok Flood Control Centre reported the medium amount of rain in Nong Chok, Phraya Thai, Chatuchak and Bang Sue throughout this morning. Part of Ngam Wongwan Road in front of Soi Chinnakhet was flooded but the water has already receded and the situation is returned to normal. Due to slow traffic on Vibhavadi Road, motorists should spare time for travelling. The Meteorological Department warned of variable weather in the upper part of the country from today to tomorrow. Mostly cloudy sky and thunder storm are forecast in 60 per cent of Greater Bangkok and heavy rain in some areas. (TNA)
