Bahrain participates in Arab Health Ministers Council meeting

Cairo. Mar. 3 (BNA): On behalf of Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al Saleh, Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Walid bin Khalifa Al Mena headed on March 1 Bahrain’s delegation to the 49th regular meeting of the Arab Health Ministers Council at the Arab League headquarters. Yemeni Health Minister, the President of the previous session, alongside President of the current session, the Jordanian Health Minister, the Arab League Secretary General and Head of the Executive Bureau of the Arab Health Ministers Council gave opening speeches on the occasion. Discussions focused on health issues of common interest to the Arab countries. Successful and pioneering experiences of the Arab countries in the health field were also brought under the spotlight. The Head of Bahrain’s delegation reviewed the kingdom’s successful experience which earned it local, regional and international praise and prizes.
