Security agencies efforts praised

Manama, Mar. 4 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi has reiterated that the Kingdom of Bahrain was capable of defeating terrorism and eliminating its intellectual, financial and organizational roots, deterring Iran’s interferences in Bahrain’s internal affairs thanks to the vigilance and efficiency of its security agencies and its fully integrated legal system, the solidarity of its brethren as part of the Arab and international war on the forces of evil, extremism and enemies of humanity.
Al Romaihi commended the security agencies dismantling yesterday of a terrorist organization backed by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard financially, organizationally and logistically; and, arrested 116 of its terrorist elements as part of the successful quantum strikes against Iran’s terrorist organisations and its militias in the Arab region, including Asayeb Ahl Alhaq terrorist brigades in Iraq and Hezbollah terrorist organisation in Lebanon, and thwart their terrorist plots against the Kingdom’s security and stability, its vital oil and economic installations and the safety of its citizens and residents.
The minister affirmed that Bahrain will not stand ‘handcuffed’ vis-à-vis the attempts by Iran and its regional terrorist vassals to threaten Bahrain and Arabian Gulf security. He affirmed that the security agencies will continue the procedures to apprehend outlaws, dismantle terrorist cells, address the Interpol to expedite the arrest of runaway terrorist groups leaders who were in charge of recruitment, harbouring and training terrorist elements supplying them with funds, weapons and equipment in their devilish plots to target innocents and commit acts of killing, sabotage and destruction.
The minister urged the international community to bear its responsibilities by obliging Iran to respect international legacy, the principles of good neighborliness and international conventions by halting its hostile meddling in Bahrain’s domestic affairs and the affairs of the Arab region, to hold Iran accountable for partaking in establishment of terrorist groups, financially supported them and harbored terrorist elements, smuggling weapons and explosives and broadcasting hostile and provocative political and media discourse. He praised the strategy declared by US President Donald Trump to tackle Iran the world’s biggest sponsor of terrorism, including sanctions against Iran’s Revolutionary Guard to curb its policy of exporting terrorism, spreading chaos and supporting extremism.
The minister stressed that Iran’s continuous threatening of regional and global security and peace, blatant violation of all international laws and conventions must not be overlooked and require the collective Arab and international decisive stance against terrorism and states and outlawed groups that finance terrorism, and boost the security coordination and exchange of information, cooperation to arrest those wanted by the security and to hand them over to justice, and rid the world from their evils and criminal plots.
