Mixed Martial Arts championship to be held in Bahrain

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation will hold a press conference tomorrow, Wednesday, in cooperation with HHSK Media Office to announce the organization of the fifth edition of the Mixed Martial Arts World Championship for Amateurs as well as the Brave International Week for Fighting. International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) Chairman Karith Brown, will attend the conference during which an agreement will be signed to host the championship this year. Bahrain held the previous 4th edition last year during the competitions of International Brave Week, which also included the holding of Brave Championship. Bahrain is considered as the first country in the world to host the competitions of Mixed Martial Arts World Championship for Amateurs twice in a row, which proves the Kingdom’s edge in organizing high-level activities and championships. The achievements also reflect the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association, Honorary President of Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Association, which aims to make Bahrain a global destination for Mixed Martial Arts Sport.
