Large haul of crystal meth seized in Hat Yai

SONGKHLA, March 9 (TNA) - Anti-narcotics police confiscated 447 kilogrammes of crystal methamphetamine also known as “ice” worth more than 200 million baht in Songkhla’s Hat Yai district. Two pick-up trucks were parked in Hat Yai district, waiting to transfer the drug for delivery to the destination. The illegal drug was found in a pick-up truck and two suspects were also arrested. The police said the large haul of ice was transported from the Northeast, destined to Malaysia. The police are questioning the suspects, who initially confessed to being hired to deliver the drug.
