PM visits Nong Bua Lamphu

NONG BUA LAMPHU, March 22 (TNA) – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha on Thursday takes field visit to Nong Bua Lamphu to follow up on progress in poverty eradication in agricultural sector. The Government’s efforts to address poverty in agricultural sector in accordance with the Royal Wisdoms include development of organic farming and promotion of alternative energy. The prime minister and delegation visited Pho Si Samran organic farming community enterprise in Nong Nua Lamphu’s provincial seat. Gen Prayut witnessed handing over of productive land tenure permits and relief bags to storm-affected people and preside over the opening ceremony of Ban Pho Si Samran Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) Learning Center. In the afternoon, he will observe the operation of Ban Na Kham Hai local textile community, and visit the local textile shop. He will also attend a community forum on “Sustainable Thai-ism” together with approximately 300 community members, and observe local textile and OTOP production before returning to Bangkok. (TNA)
