Graft buster wraps up initial probes in 37 provinces
BANGKOK, April 3 (TNA) - The Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) on Tuesday wraps up the results of the urgent probes into welfare centers for the underprivileged in 37 provinces and will also identify people, who are involved in corruption.
PACC secretary-general Lt Col Kornthip Daroj said the investigation, which began in Feb 13 is set to be completed for 37 provinces at the end of March.
The working committee is scheduled to meet today to wrap up the results of the probes over disbursement of the Protection Centers for the Destitute, Highland People Development Centres and Coordination Centers for Village Projects, receiving more than one million fund.
The meeting will also identify the culprits, being involved in misappropriation before it will forward the reports to the PAAC board for the establishment of sub-committee for further examination. (TNA)
